    Hello,

I've managed to install and run Dynamics NAV 4 and 5 with WINE on Ubuntu , but using it in a LIVE production environment.. ..I wouldn't recommend it.

There is good and stable support for a RDP connection for a Windows Terminal Server. Most popular distro's have Rdesktop installed and use a gui similar like RDP on XP
    Met vriendelijke groet, best regards,

I tried this a few years ago (with WINE). I was able to start NAV, but was not able to open a database. Did you test this?

I can imagine that using automations is a no-go ..

I'd not recommend wine cause its emulated. Terminal is also a little faster setup.

I agree RDP is probably your best bet. Let all the NAV exe's run on Windows platform.

you could also use a Citrix environment, but don't use Wine. I agree the people before, automation will be a killer for NAV on Wine.
