Duration changing enhanced to standard security

Hello,

Can anybody tell me how long it approximatly should take to change security from enhanced to standard on a small (500 MB) sql 2005 database?

It can take a while when you have quite some users... . how long exactly ... 2 minutes may be?

Ok.
I recently tried it, but after a couple of hours I killed the client...

I think the problem can be I didn't end the NAS. :oops:

hm, was it with going to single user? or when actually changing the security model?

Should going to single user take long? That went quick. Didn't notice any processing when clicking Single User.

When I changed enhanced to standard, it took too long.

OK.
No, I noticed that changing to single user can crash the client sometimes. I had it myself a few times.

Changing security worked like a charm now! It took about 45 seconds to change enhanced into standard.

Noticed "Synchronize Single Login" is disabled now. And "Synchronize All Logins" is very fast now.
Probably a known fact for a lot of people, but thought I'd mention it.
