diff between general journal and journal voucher in navision

please tell me the difference betwwen general journal and journal voucher.
what is contra voucher?when we need it? and what will be the entries?

Journal Vouchers are brought in SP3 to segregate the Cash, Bank and other journal entries.

Contra entries are cash txn entry with bank or vice versa by the account owner.
