How to Print horizonatally

sunnyksunnyk Member Posts: 280
Hi Experts,
I have four companies in my database. I made one report with company Dataitem and Item Dataitem with Item indent under Company.
Now when i select one item in the report it shows the quantity of that item in the all 4 companies like

Company1
Item No.XXXXX
Qty-4
Company2
Item No. XXXXX
Qty-3
Company3
Item No.XXXXX
Qty-5

but my query is how to get the result in horizontal format like

Item No. XXXX
Company1 Company2 Company3
QTY 2 3 4

Please Advice!

    you cant print this way

    company1 company2 company3 .... horizontally.

because this is not static. in future no of companies grow up.
but no of quarter are fix (4 quarters) so you can create variable having dimension value 4 and find those values for one company and store it in a variable.after that you can print all quarter in same row.
    company1
    item no.
    Qty1 Qty2 Qty3 Qty4.

    company2
    item no.
    Qty1 Qty2 Qty3 Qty4.

    hope it helps.

Hi rajesh thnx for the quick reply but my objective is not to print in quaters.
Suppose today i run this report and select a particular item say A-123B
then the report must show Qty on hand in all the companies as

    Item No. A-123B
    Company Name Company1 Company2 Company3
    Quantity '2' '3' '4'

    I hope u got it what i m asking:)

if no of company will increase then what you will do ? you have to edit this report every time when you add a company. the reason behind is that you can create no. of companies its not static.
