what is the use of Data director Monitor...what time can i use

    the purpose of data director monitor is to monitor the data director. You connect to it directly. You could telnet instead as well.
    You can see if dd is running and what it is doing.

    I personally think they should change and get rid of DD and use webservice in future versions.
