We have Sql Server and Navision 4.0.
We are planning for Data Compression / Optimize.
Can any one tell me what is the benefit and Risk to do this ?

i'm sure compression has been discussed many times.
First question is why do you want to do this?
Are you having performance problems?
Usually performace problems can be solved in a few different ways without the need to compress data and lose detail.
