In value entry table that fields cost amount(actual) and Purchase amount(actual).
Kindly let me know the what is the exact difference between the two fields.
The Cost Amount (Actual) is filled in all the records in the Value Entry table, because every item has a cost associated with it. However, the Purchase Amount (Actual) is recorded only for the purchase transactions (Item Ledger Entry Type = Purchase).
Cost amount(Actual) is calculated from value entry table. when you receive a good and you have put check mark in Expected cost posting in inventory set up then cost amount(Expected) is populated. and when you invoice that shipment at that time Cost amount(Actual) will automatically calculated.
