They are very experienced in upgrades. In fact do nothing else. They can guide you though the process and keep you from making (expensive) mistakes.
I would budget somewhere between 1 day and 8 months, it should fit in there somewhere.
Really if you don't know then it will be MUCH MUCH cheaper to follow Mark's advise and use an experienced professional.
