Hi :) ,

We want to use the Axapta Enterprise Portal Web Interface, but we encounter some problems when it is loading in the browser. We are getting the following error:

AxaptaCOMConnector.Axapta.1 error '80042041'

Error executing code: <empty class> object not initialized. Stack trace: \Classes\<unknown>\itemTxt \Classes\WebSession\ParseArgs - line 109 Error executing code: <empty class> object not initialized. Stack trace: \Classes\<unknown>\itemTxt \Classes\WebSession\ParseArgs - line 109

/EnterprisePortal2/i_axapta.asp, line 4

The error apear after the Login Page in Windows 2003, and from the begining, in Windows 2000. We have done the Axapta COM+ registration, and the setup with the EP Setup Wizard, and still it raise this error.

What could be the problem? Are we omitting some other changes?

    Keep in mind that 2003 server is not certified to run on axapta just yet. Their have been some problems with the com connector in 3.0 with 2003. I believe the problem to be with IIS on the new version of the OS. SP1 for 2003 will correct the issue. I would recommend running on 2k server and SQL sp3a.

    I haven't tried it myself yet, but on www.mbsonline.org
    there is a reply to a similar issue, mentioning Article KB839003
    for a patch on Windows Server 2003/IIS 6.0.
