Implementing Employee Portal with Sharpoint 3.0

HI Friends,

When I try to install Employee Portal, Iam getting an error that Windows Sharpoint Services must be installed in this machine. But I have already installed the same in this machine.

Iam facing this while using WSS 3.0 Can anyone help me out. How to implement the Employee Portal with WSS 3.0???

    You should get the latest version of the EP installation program. This is a known bug and a hotfix was released for it. Look for it on PartnerSource.
    Debugging is twice as hard as writing code. Therefore if you write the code as cleverly as possible you are by definition not smart enough to debug it.

    Ok so is it possible for connecting Employee Portal with WSS 3.0

    Yes, Employee Portal will work with Sharepoint services 3.0

    I am the same situation like you as of now, i encounter the same error, do you have solution for this? or do you get some KB article from MS?please share your experience.
