Date on Item Tracking Lines

NAV5. Date format: dd/mm/yy

On Item tracking lines in expire date fiedl I've entered 30/12/30 (expecting to have 30/12/2030).

However, when I posted shipment, I have realized, that Navision taken date as 30/12/1930 (instead of 30/12/2030).

Any ideas why? Is there setup or settings anywhere where we define how navision should convert date fields?

    Hi Tomas,

This may be down to the default time span in Windows for two-digit years. The default span is 1930 to 2029.

Look at Regional and Language Options in Control Panel, then click Customize button, then the Date tab.

At the top you'll see the time span, most likely set from 1930 to 2029.

Increasing 2029 may solve your problem.

    Hope this helps.
