Hi!

I increased our sessions from 12 to 18. Of course I placed a new licence file "fin.flf" in the server location.
Why am I still receiving a error message from my Navison Attain 3.60 which informs me of exceeding the number of licenced sessions all though licence information file indicates licence session number =18?
Am I forgeting something?
Please help ... :oops:

    I think I did the same thing just the other day.

    There should be a service running on the server that needs to be restarted. Try stopping "microsoft business solutions - navision" then start it again. You will want to have everyone logged off of navision when you do that.

    My gut feel is that restarting the server would do the same thing.

    Hi all;
    There should be a service running on the server that needs to be restarted. Try stopping "microsoft business solutions - navision" then start it again. You will want to have everyone logged off of navision when you do that.

    This is indeed the way to go and should ALWAYS be done with the users logged out. This can also be used to clear any "locked" in sessions when using the native DB that may have occured by a system failure.
    Remember: Keep it simple
