Lookup button

Hi,
When I set Required Filter Field for any dataitem, Sometime, I get lookup button on right side of that field and sometime, I got that lookup button in the bottom of that form.
and also there are too much difference between these lookup buttons.

:? what is the reason?

    The lookup-button in each field is a lookup for 1 value of that field.

    If you see a lookup-button in the bottom of that form, it will open the form to show you all the records you currently selected. If you then change the filters on the form and then close the form, the filters will be ported to your report.
