Windows Logins Synchronize Problem

qleaveqleave Member Posts: 11
Hi, We are currently having a problem whereby when we select a user (user A) in Windows Logins and then Synchronize a Single Login it affects someone else's login (user B).
So when we run the process it updates the user A and their permissions are fine, but for some reason every time we run this process user B losses their permissions. So as soon as the synch is run, then user B clicks on anything they receive a denied access, you don't have permissions error. So we have to go and re-synch user B's login each time we update someone else's permissions or add a new user to the system.
I have removed user B's login and re-added them, but this didn't seem to help at all.
Any ideas on why this might be happening?

We are running Nav4 SP1 on SQL 2000.
Thanks

This is problem of the NAV 4.00SP1. I recommend to upgrade to SP3.

And use the standard security model. This way the synchronize isn't needed anymore.

We are actually in the process of testing Nav4 SP3, so that should be fine to upgrade to that to fix it.
Thanks a lot for the advice and also about the simple security model.
