:?:My client wishes to report a total of credit customer balances in a row separate from debit customer balances on their Account Schedules. However, you will notice that all customer account are tied to a one conrol account in the GL. A customer whose balance is Cr today can be debit the next day. The challenge is how to separate figures in the same GL account and put them in separate lines on account schedules.
I would be grateful to have some suggessions.

Hi S,
In the Account schedule row builder you can change the Amount Type column from Net Amount to Display either Debit or Credit amounts only for the selected posting account.
Hope this helps

Just looking at your requirements again, I think you are trying to just display a sum of customer with credit Balances not just the Credit hits to the g/l control.
Unfortunately I don't see a way of achieveing this using the account schedules you will need a program change - the source code (customer account no.) is stored on the g/l entry so you could sum by that but development required
