NAV 500 Strange behaviour searching and programming

Hi everyone,

I am migrating a NAV 3.70 database server to a NAV 5.00 SQL Server option.

I am actually programming NAV 5.00 objects to integrate all the customizations from my old version.

Every thing was righ until this morning.

From that moment i have started to experiment several srange things. For example:

1.- The Search Button in the Toolbar from the finsql.exe doesn't work.
When I try to search anything a message appears where it seems that NAV thinks that no text is filled in the searching windows.

2.- When I try to add a new global or local variable that variable inmediatly dessapears

It is the first time that I see this situation.

I have tried the next things to solve it:

1.- Delete zup files.
2.- Install and reinstall NAV executables.
3.- Because of I started to program in a NAV 5.00 SQL Server database I have tried to make it in a database server instead of it but it is the same.
4.- The NAV database test it works right.
5.- Change NAV users, windows users, ...
6.- Compile NAV objects.
7.- Export and import NAV objects.
8.- Back up and restore in other database.
9.- Change to 5.00 SP1 executables
10.- ...

I don't know what is wrong and it is very important because we are blocked. Does anybody knows anything about this things?

Please, thank you for your help.

    OK.

    You are right.

I was modifying "Make Text" function in cdu 1 for deleting the strange characters that come when you copy and paste from Office.

The problem is that the cdu executed code in other codeunit not migrated at this moment by other person.

    Thank very much... :D
