automatic flushing + scrap

What is the easiest way to report scrap (eg items did not pass QA) with automatic (backward) consumption + production?

Here is what I have tried:
1) OPR component line, column scrap %
- consumption and production unchanged upon Finish
2) routing, fixed scrap & scrap %
- consumption and production unchanged upon Finish
3) Component lines scrap %
- consumption increases by entered %

What I want is the effect from number 3, but I doubt users should have to enter the number on every component line, which makes me think there must be an easier way that I don't know about.

Otherwise I will probably add a form or some logic to manipulate component line scrap %

You can setup the scrap % and it will increase the required components by that %.

The routing is created from the original settings, as are the component lines. Set the % appropriately then create the BOMs and routes, this should work with you seeing them on the component and route lines.

but I don't want to change the BOMs and routes, since normally scrap is 0%. But when there is a defective item it should be recorded as such., an donly the specific OPF related to this item ebing produced should be changed, not the original routings/bom. Or am I missing something?
