Convert GP to NAV

Hi Guys

Have any of your any expirience to upgrade an existing GP customer to a NAV solution??

What I think about is:

Can we do it an easy way with any tools??
Is it possible to convert the GP license into NAV license??

I have tried to look on Partnersource but didn't find that much about it, have also asked my PAM but no help from him :-(

Hope to hear from a lot of your guys.

    In the USA, a customer under a support plan can move from one Dynamics product to another with full credit for the prior license.
    You could ask your PAM if this policy is in force in your region.
    I am not aware of any data conversion tools to facilitate this process.

    There aren't really any tools needed. Just make sure to map out their current fields and make sure where they are going to import into NAV, and that the field properties in NAV are long enough to accommodate, they go to the same table, etc. After that it's all data massaging and dataports.

    BTW thanks for the license info davmac1, I had no idea that was an option.
