Posted Credit Memo Lines gets deleted

The lines gets deleted from a Posted Credit Memo,the header is still there but in the lines its showing 'lines deleted'. How can i retreive the lines and update the table or please suggest me an alternative solution.

Hi Vineet,

Are you sure it's not "Deleted Document" - This happen if a user creates a credit memo and deletes it without posting. The system records it with a line having a description "Deleted Document". This is to keep a record of each credit memo in the sequence for audit purposes.

P.S. Navigate on the credit memo reference to check for postings

If I'm correct on what occurred then the credit memo did not post but just deleted before posting.

Have you tried to navigate on the credit memo ? - it should just return the posted sales credit memo line which meant the credit was not posted to your ledgers.

Unfortunately there is no way to retreive the lines but if it's not a actual credit (posted to your ledgers) do you need the lines ?
