Hi,

Just a simple question...

What kind of security (encryption/ssl/??) is used when NAV client connects/interchange data with SQL DB Server?

    Question:

Since Navision is not designed (or intended) to tranmit data over a WAN connection would this be a concern? I've only seen this be an issue with applications that are sending data over a public network where security may be an issue.

    Or am I missing something?

Client PCs would connect to Server over Radio link. So, thrs a security concern.

Is this a local radio link or a WAN? Are you sure it will provide sufficient bandwidth for a direct server connection? Or will the connection be via Terminal Server/Citrix. If TS/Citrix the security is handled there.
