Hi all!
I have installed NAV5 SQL, Navision Application server and ACDS. All those services are started but when I check my connection on hyperterminal through windows , it only shows a blank screen ( saying connected) but nothing appears.
How can I solve that?

There are a number on "moving part" to check with ADCS.
1. NAS started and working (just check the event log for error/warnings)
2. Has Navision VT100 Plugin started sugestfully (again check the event log and you should have information logs)
3. Is the company name entered correctly
4. Are miniform tables populated ( copy over cronus for a start)
5. Have you warehouse emplyees setup
the install doc w1w1InstADCS.pdf is quite helpful on Nav Cd/DVD

All those steps have been done but still does not work.
Other things to check
1. ADCS parameter set on NAS (as per installation quide)
2. Login form ticked on
3. Using the correct tcp/ip port number - check your regedit

I search the site and found this topic. I am also currently testing the ADCS connection. What I did is to setup another server called SRVADCS and installed NAS and got the VT100 Plugin working. The NAS is connected to my Navision SQL Database, SRVDB. When I launch the Hyper Terminal, the mini form prompt up and it work fine.
The next step in my testing, I have set up another NAS on the same server, SRVADCS and with another start up parameters for different tcp port. (said ADCS ADCSID=11311 and the original is 11322). However, when I create another Hyper Terminal to point to 11311, it does not give me the mini form. Wondering where did I miss?
