No Series to a new document type

Hi Experts!

I have made a new document type and now I have to find a way to manage document numbers of this new document type. Can you give me a guidance how to do this? Can someone explain, how to use number series in NAV?

You could use Development Toolkit (or a plain text file (export all objects to txt)) to search for field "No. Series". Every where it is used, you have to use for your new document type.

If you use Development Toolkit, you could do a "Where used" on field "No. Series" in the table where you added the new document type.

Or search the forum about No. Series. There are plenty of post about it.
