We enter the values in the "Qty. to ship" field for the items which are to be shipped and the rest of the items as "zero". When we ship these items
all the items in the sales order lines are posted in the Posted shipment line
table. In which the item shipped are with "Quantity" and all other items are without quanity.
Why the entries which has no value in the "Qty. to Ship" field are posted in the Posted shipment lines.
thanks & regards,suresh

To simple get a good overview of the order.
If you take a look to this order (posted shipment) a year later, you still know what happend. You know what the complete order was, you know which where shipped partly, you know what was still in back-order.
But! It's maybe a good thing not exclude them from the shipment-note."Real programmers don't comment their code.
If it was hard to write, it should be hard to understand."0
