Hi All, I have a need to capture the lines on sales orders that can't be filled for whatever reason. I was thinking I would trap when qty's get changed or lines get deleted and make users select a reason code from a lookup table or other popup form. I want to limit the overhead needed to accomplish this so I wanted to really think it out diligently. However, I don't want to re-invent the wheel to get this done. I have got the runaround from Microsoft when I called since I'm a customer. I have also asked my VAR and they "are not aware of anything of the sort" that they have done or a granule that exists.
Has anyone ever approached this? Seems like it would be a pretty common need.

The reason is automating it will also log unintended mistakes during data entry or customer order changes.
