Hi All,
we just wanted to know whether the NAV ADCS supports the following scenario:

An Organisation sells Items X and Y with quantity 10 and 20 respectively to a customer ABC. After some time, and employee of the organisation visits the Customer place and takes the physical quantity count of the unsold items using a HandHeld Device. Now Employee comes back to the organisation and should be able to upload the captured data into NAV through ADCS. is it possible?

we have using NAV 5.0 SP1.

can we create miniforms and codeunits and attach codeunits to the newly created miniforms.

Can anyone help in this regard.

Thank You,

When you say upload, it means you are offline with your handheld units.

In that case you don't need ADCS, you just need a dataport to upload the data to a journal, and you need to be clear, why you need to do physical inventory of something you've sold or unsold?

ADCS is for live connection and with standard NAV, you can use it for warehouse management only.

Yes you could but it will be real time conndcted to server. It will be faster to use rdp for handheld units. And create small forms. It will be faster than ADCS.
