Connectivity with Navision 3.60

Hi, Thanx in Advance.I have a problem in connecting navision client 3.60 with Navision server.I am able to connect 3 of my system with my server but with only one system i am not able to do this.
But when i change the 'hosts' file in the system with the servers IP address and name, I got the system connected.
what could be the reason.
