hi gurus,

if I have zero opening balance in the inventory for all the Item.then what problems I have to face

1. To creat forecast.
2. To Run planning on the forecast.
3. creation of Released Production Order.
4. creation of Finished Production Order.

I'm assuming you're planning to buy the inventory first?

Nonetheless, you won't be able to post Prod. Orders if you have no components on hand.

what do you mean with "zero openşng balances"? zero quantity or zero cost ? if you mean "zero cost", then i can say that you can revaluate opening quantities later.
