Invooice for Price Escalation

Dear All,
I have one issue regarding invoice for price escalation.
How to raise invoice for price escalation with all taxes like excise & sales tax? e.g. when we take some order for the manufacturing of product for Rs.10000 and we have deliver the product within 2 months. At the time of despatch of product the cost of production or raw materail has gone up say Rs 20000 so as per aggrement we have raise price escalation invoice for Rs 10000/- and applicable taxes .so how to raise this kind invoice in the system.
If we do it through it item charge the excise is calculated but sales tax is not calculated?
so how handle it through system?

Create new invoice and use the "Charge item", apply the charge item to the posted invoice.
