microsoft ax 3.0 installation problem

hi friends,
i am getting a problem after installing microsoft ax 3.0. when i am trying to open ax from start->programs->navision axapta , it is giving bellow mention error.
SQL error
SQL has reported the following error:
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user 'sa'.. Connect information was: Userid = [sa], Database = [AXDB], Server = [CTDSK144], DSN = [], Other = []
You may refer to the error log file for further details.

can anyone tell me how can i solve the problem?
how i install the ax mention bellow....
first i installed application,then client, then server..i only change the user id. rest of the field in every installation wizard i kept default value.
is it a installation problem..if yes please tell me how to install ax 3.0.
and what are the prerequisites.
