Sales Order Lot No.s Error Message

Hi,

Using Cronus database in Navision 3.70,

I am getting the following error:
Item Tracking Serial No. Lot No. for Item No. Variant cannot be fully applied.

I created a purchase order. Assigned Lot No. I then created a sales order, and assigned lot No.s

When I post, I get the error above.
In Item setup, I have Item Tracking Set and Lot No. Set.

Any ideas, as I am stuck.

    We don't use lots, but we do serialize everything and get this error from time to time. I believe it has to do with availability in the item ledger, but I could be confusing it with another error. So check your quantity / unit of measure / open / lot no fields in the item ledger as a start.

    Did you book your item in? How did you assign the lot? Did you pick it from the item tracking summary?
