I was just playing around with a test db and created a new accounting period using the usual form. Unfortunatly I didn't check the dates it had suggested and it has created an accounting period starting in Aug.
This is a test Db so I don't particularly care, but I am unable to remove these rows from the db as it is 'date locked' and this has piqued my interest.
I am sure a client will do the same someday so I thought I'd investigate how to solve this problem.
Does anyone know of a more rational method than just removing the code triggers, deleting the rows and then putting the code back?
Does anyone know if this will have other implications in other tables - I don't think so but just in case.
