During our update phase I want to run Attain 3.70 and my old Application Financials 2.01 on the same machine. Does anyone have experience with this non standard configuration?
Thanks

    Sure!

    What's the problem?

You can have as many versions of Navision on one machine as you want, as long as you don't let the installer update your current installation. Now I only have 3.6 and 3.7 on my machine, since all my customers are on either one of those, but I used to have them all from 2.01 up.

    Hi,

you can get problems by making backups from different versions with the same target directory and the backups have the same extension.

Another solution could be to restore a backup of your old database in the 3.7 executables. This will create the objects/data of your old database in a way that you can access them with 3.7. We've been doing this for a little while now, because having multiple Navision versions could cause problems if you use external applications (i.e. outlook integration, MS Office integration, etc.).
