hello,
i try to upgrade NAV 4.03 to SQL 2005.
It's my first time that i try that so maybe someone can help me.
After Creating a new Database on SQL 2005 i want to restore a exiting NAvision Database.
I get the Error: the customer table contains a field with a date value that cannot be used with Sql 2005:
Rec. No. xyxyx
Field: birthday='16.03.1679'
What can i do? Is there an Problem with the Year '1679'??
Thx for Help.

Before migrating from "native" NAV to SQL you have to prepare the database before the backup. The "Upgrade Toolkit" includes several objects (migrate.fob) to do this task.
I recommend to check this out:http://www.mibuso.com/dlinfo.asp?FileID=917

Is that for a geneology solution, or something to do with some sort of archive? A cemetary perhaps?
