What exactly is a customer reference?

Sorry if this sounds a silly question, but what I mean is, what do Microsoft expect from a customer reference?

Does it mean we can use a customer as reference if we installed NAV there, sold them Win95, or somewhere in between?

You should be asking that question directly to Microsoft instead of people on this forum. If you're trying to gain competency, you should be establishing a contact at Microsoft instead of forum people.
