Hi,
In all technical papers, Microsoft recommend migrate to 5,0 and after, migrate to 6.0 (2009). Why is it neccesary? Can I migrate directly from 4.03 to 6.0??
Thanks

Sure you can, but in the proces of upgrading you will have to upgrade business logic to 5.0 and migrate to SQL if you are on Native.
The only saving you can do is not to merge your forms but move to pages directly. In return for that saving you'll get the risk of the big bang.
So to be gentle to your business and keep users happy it is better to spread the risk.
If you are on 5.0 SP1 you can even migrate your users per department.
