Nav talking to third party application

Hi experts,

please can someone help me i have a client that want his payroll to be desgned by Navision and want Nav to generate a payroll journal and send it to his third party accounting package for posting.

there are many options.
What for interfaces has this 3-rd party application:?:
Can it import / export ASCII files? Has it an ODBC Driver, is it based on an sql database, so that you can import the datas from navision via ADO to the 3-rd application. So, we / you must know, what these application can do.

Do you mean that you want to calculate Pay Role, taxes etc. In Navision?

If so forget it. Even in countries that have payroll as a standard I would still recommend havering payroll outsourced.

Can Dataport solve your problem? Just export data from navision to csv file in your desired format with dataport. Then, import the csv file into your accouting software.
