Error in Installing Business Notification server

hi,
we tried installing the BN on the sql - 2000. Later on we decided to move on to sql-2005.

we just uninstalled the sql-2000 and put in sql-2005.

and if we now try to install the BN we get an error that a previous instance of BN still exists.

now the situation is that we can't uninstall the previous BN, and neither we can install a new one.

Any suggestions ??

try un-installing all the other components of BA , like BA server, client , etc and start afresh

BA? It is about BN... ;-)

DO not forget that BN for SQL 2000 is standalone application and you need to uninstall it separatly. In SQL 2005 BN is part of the SQL 2005 installation. You need to be sure that you uninstalled the SQL 2000, BN for SQL 2000, NAV Business Notification Server and check that there are no leftover folders for these applications before you start installing newer versions (and do not forget to restart the machine before you start installig...)

Oh . sorry #-o .. I meant it to be BN and not BA
