Accounting Periods

When i try to enter a new accounting period in the table it keeps telling me that the period is already in use. If i try enter it from the setup it brings an error of missing financial period. What can the problem be

    There is a bug in the 5.0, it is solved in the 5.0 SP1.
    Maybe this is you problem.

    Or you can also open the table from the object designer and enter the first line of an accounting period. Then you can open the form and generate the whole period.

    Joeri, if the problem is the one I mentioned above, you solution will not work because the problem is in the table trigger. Opening the table from the object designer does not prevent the table triggers from running.
