Please check that the DLL module exists, and that any other DLL modules that it will use also exist.

well...where is this nc_2.dll file?my colleague hasn't got it either...and his nav works fine...
other info: if i access this db through opening the phisical file i don't got any error, if i try to access through the service... ](*,)

does anyone know this issue?

In case you try to do this on Vista, it looks like a normal error. Vista is only compatible from 4.00SP3+Vista upgrade and up.

Otherwise on which system you try to use it?
Did you try to open the DB directly from the client?

if it is searching for nc_xxx.dll, it means that the Network type is set to XXX. XXX can be netb, tcp or tcps. Check the server parameters, it seems that somewhere is "2" instead "tcp".

the problem was......(how stupid I am :oops: )
the nettype was 2!
now it's all right...i wonder why did it change...

p.s.: OS is winXP, and I could open the db directly from the fdb file
