reg: Opt. issue of connectivity of Navision & SQL th. VP

Dear All,

I am using Navision 4.0 with Sql Server as an Database option.

The Scenerio is that my server is at different geographical location & we are connecting it through VPN.

The problem is while connecting it through SQL Data fetching is very slow while the connectivity is good.

Can sombody help to optinise the data fetching of Navision through Navision in this scenerio

Navision is a FAT client and sends all data over your connection. This wil always be slow.

Better is to use Terminal Server or Citrix instead.

Could you please tell me is there is a way to connect the application by citrix through VPN

or it only configure on internet.

Of course, there is - you connect through VPN and you run Citrix client as if you are on the LAN... ;-)
