dont have permission to read the General Ledger setup table

I am working in Nav 4.0. I was nearly ready to go life with NAV after i created all the transactions, data needed and decided to leave security to last. Big mistake!!

So when i got to Warehouse setup i decided to add some roles and did a Synchronize security.

I tried to open the company again but now i get "You dont have permission to read the General Ledger setup table"

I am really screwed here so I would greatly appreciate any help:

Facts:
The database and company creator is a Active Directory username
Navision 4.0
No roles were created by me before i tried the sync

You mean you don't have a superuser anymore, right?

Are you on SQL, or on Native?
If you're on SQL, you can open the "Member Of" table and change the role id to "SUPER".
    If you're on Native, you're screwed imho :| .

thanks for the advise but i am still in the dark. I have a domain user account called EMEA\aro as a User under the database
    Security
    User

So, i can open the database, just not open the Company

    The User table is empty
    The Memberof table is empty
The Window Logon table has one entry with a SID

    Help as always much appreciated

Check the "Windows Access Control" table. There's the mapping with the windows users and the roles.

Did you also apply the "ALL" role to the user?
