How do you pronounce NAV and AX?

remark

Recently I've been to Microsoft forum and to my surprise heard as Microsoft's people constantly pronounced NAV and AX by letters [en,ei,vi] and [ei, eks].
I got used to pronounce it by sounds: [nav] and [ex], simply as beginning of words "NAVision" and "AXapta".
What about you?
How would it be correct?
Best regards.

There are people that say NAY-vision, there are people that say NAV-ision (as in saying NAV as a word and then put 'ision' at the end), there are people who really try hard and say N-A-V, and of course just NAV as a word. I even had a customer that gave the product their own internal name, very confusing.
The proper pronouncement is saying the letters "Enn Ay Vee"Of course then you attend a presentation with some of the leaders at Microsoft, and some of them still say 'Navision', as do hundreds maybe even thousands of people that work with it every day.
That's the marketing machine at work, thinking that by giving the same thing a different name it will make things more clear.0 -
My vote goes to "NAV" as one word.

The correct pronunciation of "NAV" is:
Na - vizh - unDavid Singleton0 -
my old (started with the blue version) customers say: Navision
my old (started with financials) customers say: Navision.
my old (started with Attain) customers say: Navision
my my (started with 4.xx) customers say: Navision
we say on presentations NAV (EN-AEY-VI), but in some talks with the customer also Navision. Because they found, Navision is a better word then NAV.
RegardsDo you make it right, it works too!0 -

I try to think about saying the right thing (Enn Ay Vee), but always find myself in conversations saying Navision (nuh-vision) when not thinking about it. Hey it is what it is, and it is Navision damnit0

Actually it's interesting. When it was officially called Navision Financials, people called it Navision. When it was officially called Navision Attain, people called it Navision. When it was officially called Microsoft Navision / Microsoft Dynamics - Navision, people called it Navision. When it's called Microsoft Dynamics - NAV, people call it Navision.
Seems like customer don't really give a hoot about the official name0 -

My customers pronounce it "naff" or "a-x"
Great remark, always funny how it's pronounced somewhere els. :whistle:0 -
In English "Enn Ay Vee", in German "NAV" , pronounced [nuff]
. But usually, just "Navision". Works in all languages.
