Allocation of prepaid invoices over a year

Insurance invoice for 12000, needs to be allocated on a monthly basis over a 12 month period (1000 per month). We are currently using recurring journals, but this involves posting Journal 12times and remembering to post the journal every month. Can anyone suggest an easier solution?

You could schedule it with Job scheduler. or Job Queue based on what version you have.
