Extra payroll in year

Can anyone answer this question regarding payroll in Navision Navigator 4.03 NA 4.00 (4.0 SP3) -- Navision with Serenic add-on

In calendar year 2009, the first payday would be January 1, 2009. However, that is a holiday and we may have to pay on December 31, 2008, but the last pay cycle for 2008 is December 18, 2008. If we pay on December 31, there will be 27 paydays in 2008, and only 25 paydays in 2009. Do you see a problem with how Navision would account for this?

Thanks

When you setup your pay periods for the year, you predefine when they will land, etc. It doesn't really matter if you have 25 or 27 in some years, as long as you select the pay cycles in the setup properly, it'll be fine.
