Print temporary text on report

Hi to all...

I've created a new form and put there few fields, etc....

From one field (dropdown) I choose the Contact No. and I temporarily get some data in the fields temp1(Name), temp2(Address), temp3(...) which I can see in the Form Header. The Source Table for the form is NOT Contact.

I am havin' a problem when I want to print/preview, I can't pass those temp fields into report (if you know what I mean). This temp fields are defined in the Globals as Text.

Is there any chance to pass those fields on the report, just to print/preview them?

    Create a function in the report that you can call from your form. In your function, you will pass the values as parameters to the function. Store them in the report to global variables. Then you can call the report and the values are already contained.

    It would look kind of like this in your code:
    rptYourReport.CustomFunction(value1, value2, value3);
    rptYourReport.RUN;
