Dataport, Import issue

MSBPMSBP Member Posts: 17
Hello, I have a dataport that is supposed to import a .txt-file

Everything is setup right but I import nothing, when running the dataport.

I tried to import the txt file into Excel and then save it as a csv file ... import succesfull.

looking at the txt and csv file in Notepad gives the impression that the files are equal, yet I know they are not ...

I found out that the format for the txt file is U-DOS and the csv file is DOS ...

anyone has a suggestion to what could solve my issue ? My wish is to import the txt file successfull ...

Regards. Mikkel.

Try opening csv file with notepad instead of excel.
How values are separated on your txt file?

    strange hint...

use "," in stead of "<,>" at the properties.
Maybe it will work in your case.

Makes no difference ... I have consulted the customer to import the txt file in Excel and then save it as csv again ... this is the only solution I find that work.
