It's not a supported version on any platform, and definately not on Vista. The only versions that are supported on Vista are 4.0 SP3, but only if you have the platform rollup update, and 5.0.
You might be able to have it run on Vista, but that would be a coincidence. It's not supposed to be used there.
If you have either the v4.00 SP3 or v5.00 executibles, you could ~try~ to open up a TEST COPY of your database using the updated executible. The up-to-date executibles will run on Vista, but when you open the older database it will be converted to a newer format to work with the new executibles. Therefore you want to check that it will work first using a test database. And hopefully your license works too...
