What a great piece of software, shame their technical department are not very responsive :x

Has anyone integrated this with Navision (of ANY version) or does anyone know where I can lay my hands on an integration manual so that I can try it myself.

TIA

    IMHO very expansive

    Try  pdfMachine by Broadgun.
Apart from the better price, pdfMachine supports more parameters such like Watermark, stationery (1. / all pages), encryption, Document Infos, ...
You can set the parameters by writing them in the Report Header or by directly writing to the Windows Registry.
You can decide to "save only", show or e-mail the pdf document.

Thanks for the suggestion Timo :)

Whilst the individual user licence is cheaper than Gotomaxx, the sdk integration cost nearly $2k.

Even to become an add-on reseller where you are required to purchase many licences in advance, this is still significantly cheaper than $2k

So for it to be a useful solution (i.e. integrated with mail etc from Navision), I would have to pursuade the powers that be to spend a lot more money :(

    sdk integration :?: :?: :?:
We use pdfMachine in our solution an we do not use any sdk integration.
What do you mean with sdk integration?
You can use the pdfMachine by adding the neccessary parameters to the report header or (if you have a tool for that) write directly into the Windows Registry.

    Hi Timo,

I was going on the quick bit of information that I read on their web site. I needed to integrate this with simple MAPI and it look at first glance tha this was the only way.

Maybe I need to revisit it.

You don't have any code snippets as an example do you ?

In our solution this feature is a complex module, so I can't give you any code for this.
But if you can read german, take a look at this:

    Hi Timo,

I should learn another language anyway. :D

www.broadgun.de (www.pdfmachine.de) has many more informations than www.broadgun.com (www.pdfmachine.com).

    Greetings -

I developed a comprehensive add-on to facilitate e-mailing PDF documents from within Navision. I won't go into details here, but you can take a look at:

Has anyone tried to send mail to multiple recipients with PDFMachine?
I tried setting as autometed code:

    #_ emailto emailadd1@email.net _#
    #_ emailto emailadd2@email.net _#

but it sends the mail only to second address written. How can I manage to have the mail sent to all the addresses?

I don't want to use the cc option.

Isn't it better to start a new topic... This is about PDF Mailer
    I think it's a bit confusing.
