Navision FIFO Costing

Hi,
We have a customer who has got in a bit of a mess with their costing. They originally posted a credit memo for a large amount of stock returned from a customer but posted it using the wrong location codes. The user then figured they could reverse this by raising an invoice against the credit memo using copy document. But by FIFO rules the invoiced stock was allocated against a positive adjustment from the previous month which had a different unit cost. The user actually made several mistakes and the result is that their Inventory Valuation report shows a movement in value but no movement in quantity for several items for the current period.
Can anybody suggest the best way to go about correcting these entries?
Any help appreciated,
Jonathan
