Nav5 slower than Nav4 (esp. on SQL)

We have experienced a dramatic reduction in performance w/ Nav5 as opposed to Nav4. Try running the Inventory Valuation report on a Nav4 db, and then the same report on a Nav5 db that has been migrated from the previous Nav4 db, and the Nav5 version runs about 4x longer. There is not that much difference between the 2 reports in either version. We ran it on the same server, and same SQL server (2005) and the results were surprising. Nav4 just seems to run much faster.

We tried a litany of things to get it to run faster, but to no avail.

Any suggestions anyone? Feedback?
